The Grade 3, 4 & 5 students have been learning how to use the pronouns he (他tā), she (她tā) and it (它tā) in Chinese. As the Chinese pronouns have the same pronunciation, the students had a lot of fun making interesting sentences. They practiced saying other students' names using the sentence pattern 他/她/它叫。。。。Tā jiào.....(His/Her/Its name is........) and writing the Chinese characters.

The Year 3, 4 & 5 students had a good start to the new term. They were enthusiastic in learning new words for expressing their feelings. Here are the words:
很好 hěnhǎo (very good), 马马虎虎 mǎmǎhūhū (okay) and 不好bùhǎo (not good). Some Year 3 students also enjoyed finishing the monkey paper cut activity as seen in the photo above. |
