We had a lot of fun celebrating Chinese New Year on 26 February. Mr Wang from Cultural Infusions came to TPPS and had Music workshops with the students. He showed the students different kinds of Chinese musical instruments and told them stories related to the music. Some students also had a turn to play the drums and cymbals to accompany Mr Wang when he was playing the bamboo flute.
Prep - 2 students also made a dog puppet each and Grade 3 - 6 students made a Jianzi (Kikbo) to celebrate the day. |
